Hideo Kojima Wasn't Ready to Show Metal Gear Solid V's Demo, But Will Do it Due to High Demand

Hideo Kojima is going to introduce today the gameplay demo of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain that was showcased behind closed doors at E3, but he cautioned his fans that he's doing so just due to popular demand, also giving an interesting piece of trivia in the form of the four games that inspired him. (Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, PS4, Xbox One)

To me, this means this game won't come out for at least another year yet.

That's not a bad thing. People just need their expectations to be realistic.

Kojima is notorious for delays. He understands what makes a great game but his time estimates stink.
He didn't show it "due to high demand" that part is obvious BS. There was "high demand" to get either Hayter or Doyle to voice Snake and he didn't do that. It's just the typical PR BS from Kojima again.
