They're not being replaced. The PS blog warned folks they were being phased out as they announced the June update.
MonChiChi  +   384d ago
Dang, that kinda sucks.
LordMaim  +   384d ago
@MonChiChi: The trade off is that there will be 2 new Vita games every month, so there'll be more content in the long run. As long as you have them on your download list before the new update, you won't lose access to them while you're a PS+ member.

So it's 2/system right? So (not including cross-buy) it's 6 games/month (2 vita, 2 ps3 and 2 ps4)?

Also, I thought they'd all be available on the first Tuesday of the month...?

It starts in July, but yes.

wait they gave Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush out for free to plus people. what a deal
Octo1  +   384d ago
They sure did :D

On the Europe side, Uncharted and Gravity Rush have been on offer for more than a year. Hopefully those slots will be filled with something good.

don't think they're replacing them... think they're moving to the MS method of 2 "free" games per console per month

I have downloaded and/or "purchased" every PS Plus game since the service was released. My back catalog on PS3/Vita/PS4 is almost as large as my PC games catalog. And I'm a complete moron when it comes to spending money. (Steam sales. GOG sales. Origin sales. Humble Bundle.) So, good job Sony!
teflontactics  +   384d ago
That's the way to be - you'll never run out of games to play!
calis  +   384d ago
did Europe get Wipeout? Or just Gravity Rush and Uncharted?
RexDD  +   384d ago
Will they be replaced with new games? If so, Can't wait!

a lot of people are mad about this change but i like it. Yes individually each platform will be getting less than they have gotten sometimes, but that was always the issue, the "sometimes" part. While my PS+ has been nothing but a joy so far (besides needing it for MP on PS4, still don't totally like that)i have to say it's been really inconsistent, hell sometimes 2-3 months would roll by before my PS3 got anything new from PS+ while other times it would be nothing but PS3 games leaving my PS4 and Vita gathering dust till i can save up for something new(which isn't easy for me).

But with this new update it may mot be quantity but it's consistency.

Did they not say there will be no yearly ps+ titles but two free games every month now instead even on the PS4?
teflontactics  +   384d ago
Yes, they did.

Thank you PSA. "And now you know, G.I. Joe!!"

I plan on buying the PlayStation TV the moment it releases. Yes I know Uncharted is said to not work, but I'm hoping an update can fix that.
Mr_Writer85  +   384d ago
I hope it doesn't why should people who don't support the Vita get to enjoy its games?
