Cleaning, Repair and Care of Retro Game Cartridges

With the RetroN5 finally released to the masses, there is a renewed interest in grabbing game cartridges of old. Many of us go to Yard Sales, Flea Markets and Thrift Stores hoping to score that great game at a great price. But one thing you should really do with any cartridges bought before you place them in your console. Clean them, the right way.

i got ahold of some really good SNES & N64 games from a friend was going to discard a bunch of stuff.. He claims he doesnt wanna sell it off so i just took whatever i wanted.. That was a once in a lifetime opportunity because those were exclusive titles like the FF series & 1st party titles from nintendo.. With the books! no boxes though.. Ill clean em up myself & consider this retroN5

This happened to me as well. A buddy was clearing out his collection and brought a box of games into work said I could take what I wanted. No one else wanted any of them so I ended up with 40 some games from NES to Saturn. Some complete some not. Still have all of them
