In 2010, Triton Tech filed a lawsuit against Nintendo, claiming that the Wii Remote controller infringed one of the company’s patents.
Must be a slow news day. Hope everyone ifs having a great day.
How is the conclusion of a protracted legal battle for Nintendo a piece that makes this a "slow news day"?
Maybe he would have preferred another "Who won E3?" article. OT: Death to patent trolls!
yeah...not really though. these types of lawsuits usually end in companies being forced to stop production of their patent-infringing product. Kind of a really big win for good ol' nintendo, actually. honestly, its probably more news worthy than your usual *vague statement from dev about possible exclusive game many years down the road* articles, which are typically the hot sauce round these parts
LEAVE NINTENDO ALONE!!!
Nintendo: You guys are bullies Everyone: Let's pick on Nintendo, nerds nerds.
Is it just me or has Nintendo been in a lot of lawsuits lately
The Wii sold like hotcakes and the 3DS is selling like hotcakes. People want a slice for themselves! Notice how they only go after the Wii and 3DS.
Mother fu*#ers alway's be trying to keep a Mario Brotha down!
Good! I hate patent trolls.
Wow, THIS was still going on?
The court process takes forever.
