The guys at MMO Attack got a chance to check out H1Z1 at E3 and they got a bunch of brand new footage of the game along with an interview.
so much for early access in 4-6 weeks :/
But early access with DayZ is "dumb" and "who would pay for that"? I really hate calling myself a gamer when stuff like this happens. It's like sites like N4G is just filled with ****ing childish morons.
What are you getting at he just is disappointed there was no early access yet which I believe was to cone this month? You coming to assumptions or what?
Looks good..hopefully it comes too the PS4...
I suspect it will eventually. I'm really looking forward to paying both this and PlanetSide 2 on PS4 in the future.
I'm still unsure whether this will replace DayZ for me, especially since Rocket announced just 2 days ago that they will gradually be porting Dayz to a new engine. (yes, a new NEW engine) H1Z1 seems to have pros and cons. There's construction mechanics and more server capacity, but the gunfights don't look as intense as DayZ and the player encounters not as nerve-wracking. H1Z1 is more of a Rust replacement than a DayZ replacement I'll most likely end up playing both
DayZ development is extremely slow...and the problem with that is when the game is finished (if ever) it has burned out, people move on if content isn't added fast enough, going to a new engine is another delay. I don't think H1Z1 is a DayZ killer, but it can become a pretty decent Z survival, it's not really any further than DayZ but with a bigger crew it's probably finished a long time before.
Nice improvement since the last showing.
Looking really strong. I get the sense lots of people will be quite dismissive of it because they support Day Z, but I think it should be given a shot. Very much looking forward to it.
I dismissed DayZ as I hate the ARMA2 engine. It's clunky and not very optimised. I just don't go in for a game that is meant to be "anti-fun" as described by Dean Hall the creator of DayZ. I bought Rust instead as I wanted a community driven game with player housing but now that's getting a reboot too. So H1Z1 is the next alternative hardcore survival game with working zombies so I can't wait for Early Access :)
Looks pretty good so far and in 3 months they've made a lot more progress than the DayZ devs.
