they say it going to be next gen COD but you couldn't see your legs during game play (only during cut-scenes), yes that good... -_-(considering older games like Halo 2 and Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 you could see your legs during gameplay)
There is no excuse for leaving out the smaller details anymore, I know it still in development but the story line looked linear as with every COD so I not going to hold my breath for it.

Until Activision unites the COD teams and abandons the yearly installments, ima stay as far away from their bullshit as possible. I don't mean to offend any one when I say this but, COD junkies that pay $60 bucks yearly for minor improvements and tiny innovations for each installments, are no different then iPhone/galaxy junkies that pay +/- $100 yearly for an upgrade to a iPhone/galaxy that has small ass improvements. The practice makes me sick.

Activision, take 2-3 years off, and blow us away with a COD game that we'll never see coming. Til then, your glory that once was is nothing but rotten Milk to me.

A better comparison would be to subscription based games since you are talking annual cost and games, not phones. Also not like you have to get rid of the last years version. They aren't nearly the same or "copy/paste" as some claim it to be.

COD every year with all it's content between single player, multiplayer, co-op, etc... would be $5 a month to play. I don't see how it's nearly as bad as you and others imply.

Add in the DLC as updates every few months with more content and it's only $8-$10 a month with optional micro transactions like most subscription based games.

Plus it's not like there are never sales or ways to get it cheaper over time or at launch. I got Ghosts with season pass for $90 by preordering on PSN during a deal. So that's only $7.50 a month. Not a bad deal at all unless you don't like the game which seems most vocal complainers don't regardless of price.

Looking at all the options we USED to have like 10 custom classes, $5 map packs and whatnot, then seeing what the game is now I guess it can return to the glory days.....they just need $120+ per year for it to happen. /s

There's something very balanced about the weaponry from WW2. There were no super weapons and the entire experience tailors itself to a much better video game experience.

I agree. I hope Treyarch does WW2 flashback scenes in Black Ops 2. I think that is as close as we are going to get with WW2 in the next few years from Activision.

I hate to admit it cos I'm really CoD fatigued, but I thought the demo at the MS conference looked great. Nice graphics, the jet pack looks cool and the weapons/grenades looked cool too. Let's just hope they have some interesting characters and story in the main campaign.

the gameplay we saw at the microsoft conference was linear and boring. they threw in some sentinels, straight from the matrix, to distract us from how utterly redundant the game was.

and the moment where you have to leave your "buddy" to die, has been done in pretty much every COD game, as well as battlefield.

and every single year, they tell us it will be different. people speculate "maybe this time it will be an innovative leap." MW3 was supposed to be a "return to form." black ops 2 was supposed to be the "future of call of duty." Ghosts was supposed to be "fresh and unique." and now this one is hyped to revolutionize the series. we even have Kevin Spacey in there. just hop aboard that activision hype train, yet again. please people. im not buying it.

this whole military shooter genre is so played out and dull. i pity the gamers whose whole world circles around stuff like this

It's like whatever is your favorite food. If you eat a hamburger over and over again, there will be a point when you say, "I would like a chicken sandwich or a pizza or a steak or ANYTHING besides the exact same hamburger with minor changes."

Nothing WRONG with a hamburger, just want to try other things. My taste for COD disappeared after mw2 so it won't matter how good the new one is, it will still taste the same no matter how different it looks.

You'd be kidding yourself if you didn't believe there's a good chance these changes may actually rekindle the franchise. But, while the campaign looks awesome, if multiplayer continues to be heavily catering towards bad internet connections (with lag compensation, a terrible tick rate, network smoothing, etc), putting good connections at a severe disadvantage, it's may as well already be dead!

Nope unless they add more Plp too modes n have bigger maps . Also slow gunplay a little I'm tired of seeing Plp flying threw maps that's not realistic call of duty advance is gonna be a mess sorry fans pay 110$ for garbage

I usually get a lot of hate for saying this but the last good COD single player was MW3 and the last good MP was MW and MW2. So I really have very little hope and expectation for this game. Just the little bit of SP they showed looked really boring.

Hope they dont go back to the ww2 era as those weapons sucked balls. Maybe do an expansion for the old war junkies feenin for that gameplay but please dont make full games anymore!
