Alien: Isolation Made Me Physically Sick, and I Loved It - 8CN

8CN: Within the first ten minutes of my time with Alien: Isolation, the eponymous alien had thoroughly mauled me to death not once, not twice, but three times. I was frustrated, I was tense, and frankly, I was a little embarrassed. Still, there was no question in my mind about whether or not I wanted another go at it. Please sir, I want some more. (Alien: Isolation, E3, PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

Sounds like the Dark Souls of survival horror games :D

The thing with Dark Souls is that the AI is predictable after a few attempts at defeating it, the challenge is really in opening up new pathways through the world to make things easier.
The AI in this game sounds like a nightmare, like it'll stalk you and back off if the odds go against it, now if it had the same intricate level design and sense of discovery found in Dark Souls that'd be really something. Wonder if it has a permadeath mode?

This game looks awesome. Easily one of my most anticipated this fall.
