Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain E3 Trailer

Christopher Cross of VGU.TV writes: It’s not even officially E3 time yet, and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain‘s trailer is already on the internet. It is exactly what you’d expect from an MGS trailer. Directed and edited by Hideo Kojima, it’s a bloody affair as the fallout from Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is placed at the forefront and we get more of a look at the Fox Engine in motion.

''Hideo Kojima thinks that E3's Metal Gear Solid V trailer is going to be too tough to watch''

He was right, it was tough to watch as it was sh*t.

I wouldn't say it was sh*t but I agree that there was nothing great about it.

I can live with this so long as they show more actual gameplay at E3 (preferably in new, not-so-brown environments...).

We all know MGS is heavy on cinematics, but as the story has gone on and become more convoluted, I find myself caring less about the drama and more about solid stealth mechanics.

They're showing a 30min gameplay Demo, why care if you don't like the trailer then?

I'm not a fan of MGS trailers at all to be honest, 4 minutes of random clips with music over the top and then 1 minute with a bit of dialogue at the end? Ugh.

I'm sure Phantom Pain will be great though.
