Mass Effect 4 might be getting an E3 Reveal

Mass Effect 4 might be getting a reveal at E3 2014. A post on Twitter by Yannick Roy, says that the Studio Director for Bioware Montreal is heading to Los Angeles for E3, a trip that Roy rarely makes. (E3, Mass Effect 4, PC, PS4, Xbox One)

Hard to tell

One of the greatest trilogies for sure.
I just wonder if our decisions in previous games will have some effect. Someone at Bioware commented at better keeping your save files just in case.

It's not common knowledge that it will appear on E3, but it is most certainly "common hope" that it would.

I hope it does.

Yes, it is all but confirmed. Mass Effect 4 is my most anticipated game at E3 so I am counting the hours for the reveal.

I really, really hope it does, this is one of the best gaming franchises, and most underrated, I love star wars lore and history, but this game's lore is simply mind blowing for all its details, imagination and turning something fiction that could be quite possible let it be the races way of metabolism to the very core of the story.

Mass Effect 4 is definitely on my watch list, and would be a nice treat to fans have something to "bite" at E3.

I think this game will be a reboot, and not really a sequel.
All the signs point to a reboot. One of the developers on twitter a year ago said that, "It's Mass Effect, but not Mass Effect 4"....implying that Mass Effect 1-3 is just the Shepard Universe, and not apart of this new universe they're creating. An alternate universe, in other words.
That means different aliens, different stories, and the Reapers probably don't exist or never did.

BioWare must have realized that creating a sequel to ME3 would be nearly impossible, and they would have to make all three of those dramatically different ends canon, which will result to a mess of a story. They would literally have to create three different stories.

Didn't they have a poll; far in the future, or far in the past, and the future won?

Franchise went downhill after going to ps3.

The franchise is almost flawless until the last 10-15 minutes of Mass Effect 3 which is an amazing game despite its weak ending.

It was all about the journey, it's rare that I'll play through a game 5 times, but I've done it with mass effect and I want to do it again. If they release a remaster with all the DLC, I'd probably wind up getting it seeing as I missed out on the DLC for 1+2

except you know all the other lies bioware told then broke when 3 released. Like" ALL choices will affect the ending to ME3 but if you chose to kill this person, exterminate this, let this person live and this person die it will all be changed and they will all come back or be reversed. Oh and that choice ending to ME2? Doesn't count, no matter what you do they will always get what they want. OH and remember ALL the choices you made in this game, welp they don't count either all you have to do is choose a color, nothing matters except that."

Mass Effect 3 as a whole was a awful mess.

Well if they do another Mass Effect trilogy, all I hope is that learn from their last endeavor. The ending to Mass Effect 3 was a debacle. It is really hard for me to playthrough to the ending because the ending makes me sick!

Mass Effect 1 had a good ending, Mass Effect 2 had a epic ending, Mass Effect 3 had a ending to make your bowels into world war 4!

Those who said the ending was good, all I can say "is good for you hoorah!"

The ending for ME3 is only good if the indoctrination theory holds any truth.

YES PLEEEASE!!!

Eh, I'll keep an open mind but ME3 really killed the franchise be double backing on everything it started, this will probably rewrite everything we know about the history of Mass Effect again. Bioware is also turning DAi into the new Mass Effect 3.

Hopefully they can show they really know how to make RPGs and well written stories again.
