Where are these rumors from? What source is there?

All I see is rampant speculation.

SaturdayNightBeaver1201d ago

Fake spoilers are equally bad as real ones. Who approves this garbage?

Doesn't help that everybody is amped and hungry for anything new in gaming just before E3. People will believe anything and trolls will revel at opportunity . Anything that starts with " An Insider ..." it\s normally not good. I mean "Last Guardian got cancelled yesterday which led to sony responding and today there is an rumor it's being developed by a new team. I believe people fish for info by baiting the game involved sometimes.

I hope Joker doesn't return. References of Joker are okay, but as much as I think that the character is fantastic, I think that other Batman villains should take center stage. Black Mask and the assassins had that opportunity in Arkham: Origins, but the developer turned it around and made it all about Joker. A very disappointing plot twist to be sure. I'm hoping that Scarecrow and the others will have a great turn to be the central antagonists in Arkham: Knight.

Is this true? I cant see any source?

sagesurge1201d ago

not sure unless there's source

Well, seeing as Joker died at the end of Arkham City (sorry for the spoiler, but if you haven't beat it by now, you're probably never going to) and Mark Hamill announced Arkham City was going to be one of the last projects he would voice Joker, i'd like to see how Rocksteady pulls this off.

I, like the others, would like to see a source. It's kinda a major spoiler if Rocksteady would release this information before the game came out.

The Joker is no where to be seen in any of the trailers, but then again, we haven't seen Scarecrow and many other villains that we know are in the game.

Someone needs to replay the end of the game again....

ifistbrowni1201d ago (Edited 1201d ago )

maybe you can fill me in on the ending. I played it back in 2011 when it launched and that was my take on the ending. Don't see why i would have to replay the game.

I know there are other voice actors, I was just pointing it out that "their" voice actor has retired from the joker.

EDIT: After checking out a quick youtube video of the ending, pretty sure joker is dead. Not sure why you're telling me to replay the end of the game.

"i'd like to see how Rocksteady pulls this off."

Richard Epcar & Troy Baker did great as the Joker in Injustice: Gods Among Us and Batman: Arkham Origins respectively. Very reminiscent of Hamill's performance. Rocksteady would just get one of them.

vallencer1201d ago

They could just get the other 5 voice actors who've done the Joker voice. Troy Baker was absolutely spot on in origins. Just because mark Hamil is done with the Joker doesn't mean he can't come back. And yes I played city I'm just stating they have other voices that work well.

John dimaggio was pretty good too.

>joker returns
>again
>as the main villain
>again
>who was mastermind behind everything
>again

Ripsta7th1201d ago (Edited 1201d ago )

Source is random twitter account, ibet. This ain't official

vallencer1201d ago

I don't think the Joker is the mastermind at all this time. Rock steady have said the main villian is arkham knight countless times. Doesn't mean he can't be in the game but doubt he's the puppeteer.
