Man I loved my Saturn....but in reality I had a very small collection of games. Had a launch game with the name Clockwork in it. Don't really remember what it was called.

Clockwork Knight. A really cool launch game with an awesome transformer as an end boss you had to beat.

Saturn is still considered a great system even if it failed to capture the market like the PS1 did. And its funny how so many have never played a saturn and are finding them in recent years and going back to scour the library of domestic and import games to play.

It was the king of 2D arcade style shmups and fighters for its time.

I don't know why, but the Saturn never attracted me. I loved the Mega Drive and the Dreamcast but the Saturn never got on my radar and until a few years ago when I bought one I never touched the console.

Sega announcing the Saturn was the beginning of the end for the once mighty giant.

In a parallel universe Sega made all the right decisions and to this day are still in the console market.

Who knows what fabulous games await in that world.

This is the darkest timeline.

Despite Sega's slew of bad decisions, ironically, the Sega Saturn outsold Nintendo64 in Japan. True story.

The biggest shocker for me was the FF13 on Xbox 360 announcement. I NEVER thought I'd see that series on anything else other than a PlayStation platform. That really served as a sort of wake up call that 3rd party exclusivity was going away.

Sega Saturn was a great console I still have mine and I still play it. Shame Sega bowed out of the console market.

I have a mint Model 1 in my entertainment centre. I installed a modchip a few years ago and have been enjoyed all the hard to find releases, like PGS. It's well worth it.
