Mortal Kombat X promises to pummel; More at E3

So, looking back at the last Mortal Kombat game from 2011, it was really well received, being rated highly amongst critics and gamers alike. Features like the ‘super meter’ gave some new variation to what was already solid gameplay. The story mode was robust and actually fun, especially for a fighting game. The challenges were there, such as Test Your Might, and the in-game currency let you unlock an insane amount of rewards. Of course it wouldn’t be complete without the standard violence, and the new ‘X-ray moves’ you could pull off gave added depth and cringe-factor to combat.
