This versatile free-to-play war game will absolutely infuriate you. I mean that in a good way.
Big fan of World of Tanks, so I need to check this out.
Seconded. I've always wondered how chaotic an aerial approach would be.
Been playing this game on PC for a while. One of the most skill based games I've ever played. It's also a ton of fun, and each plane definitely feels different.
Ouch -- fightin' words.
I always thought World of Wartanks was too slow-paced. What's the appeal? Not trying to troll -- honest curiosity.
More tactical. I loved the game, during the beta i playrd it non stop, but then everyone started play Artillery and there where no more fights really. Just mortars from halfway across the map. I am downloading War Thunder in hopes that it is good... but my wonderful Internet is saying it will take 39 hours...
@title-no shit iv been saying that for a long time now and everybody hated on me for it but now everyone see's what i have been talking about. sorry wot your days are numbered, not over but numbered.
I highly suggest giving this game a few hours. People will HATE it the first few maps, ESPECIALLY if they play Warplanes or Tanks. But give it time. Rock-solid game.
So does this game have ANY resemblance to BattleTanks (1 or 2) on the Nintendo 64? I know next to nothing about this title, but really loved battle tanks.
No this game focuses more on realism but the arcade mode is well pretty arcadey lol it has lots of assists to help new players. Realistic battles and simulator battles are a step up for people who want to experience more realism. But that is the key strength of this title, it welcomes players who like arcade gameplay while catering for those with a more realistic taste.
Can't say I agree with some of the criticisms - In the tank handling video it just looks like that is a lack of skill tbh, the tanks handle the same way on PC if you wiggle them all over the place, inertia is modelled. - The controls in general, well what can you expect when you port a complex PC game to a console? That is console users getting a taste of what it is like for PC users get. Only criticism I could really levy at it is the interface on the PS4 is pretty damn bad.
