Greg Micek writes: "Spirit, a game we’ve covered several times here on Cliqist, is less of a game in the traditional sense than it is an interactive experience. Having retired to a quiet pixellated village to build your dream home, players explore the world around them, including a mysterious temple that has a magical vibe to it. While it’s not an action packed shooter, it still sounds like a better retirement than yelling at kids to get off your lawn.
So what’s new with Spirit since it was funded to the tune of $10,692 in April? Quite a bit!"
Arturo Bory writes: "It is entirely plausible for a group of people to raise over $2 million through crowdfunding, having already happened 63 times. That can technically seem like a lot of projects passing the mark, so you can see how Playcastle, the Korean developers behind the new “FPS masterpiece” Spirit, might see a $2 million campaign goal as a real possibility. "
Think it looked pretty cool, hard to do something new in the FPS genre, the multi barrel system and so on are pretty cool.

It’s idyllic up here in the mountains. In the distance the contractors are putting the finishing touches on your new home. There’s a festival about to start which is a perfect excuse to meet the neighbours who happily tell you they are richer than you. Or your new house is built on the site of a recent falling boulder tragedy. Or they just want to welcome you to the community by giving you an ugly sweater.
Curve Digital, the makers of Qora, are working on a new game. It's called White Space, and it's a procedurally generated roguelike where you play a bounty hunter. In space!
