10 things Sony needs to do to stay in the lead. Do you agree?
Puzzling headline. Is there some remote corner of the planet that I'm not aware of where the PS4 isn't winning?
It's true right there @Above, did the person who wrote the article know that PS4 is winning right now.
It's possible in an alternate dimension or in some peoples realty distortion filed.
He did not know for he is a blind crow
I really want that ps vita tv. It will be a great companion to the ps4, because i don't like moving my ps4 from my bedroom to the living room and the other way around.
Winning =/= win. Someone can be in the lead and be overtaken, like how the 360 was winning most of last gen, but has been overtaken by the PS3. Or they could be talking about their own opinion of what it needs to solidify itself as THE best, no question. Either way, there are likely situations where the headline makes absolute sense. EDIT: At the end of the article, "What else would you add to the PS4 to make it indispensable, and a true Xbox One slayer? " Which makes sense because, as much as I prefer the PS4 over the One, there are reasons that it can falter in the eyes of some and there are ways that it could be the one true console king.
Usually, when someone is actively winning, it's due heavily to whatever they're already doing. As such, Sony doesn't need to do anything else right now to win. If, however, the conditions of the race change in any way, then there may be a need to change in order to obtain victory. For now, they could just keep doing what they're doing; as long as nothing else changed, why would Sony need to change anything?
I think red bull should keep to making drinks, not opinion pieces.
They are winning battles. The United States did that in Vietnam, but guess what - they lost the war. So in order to "win the war" the PS4 needs to continue to innovate. And they are not winning so much that they can ignore what there main competition can do compared to what they can't do.
Author must have been living in a card board box and high on crack all day for the past 6 months.
I file this under my memory bank as comedy.
They need better updates plain and simple :)
^ ^ In fairness guys, just under the headline it states: "10 things Sony needs to do to stay in the lead. Do you agree?" Although, speaking of that headline, it could have been worded better.
the personality thing i like the dual shock having less light and more power was already an update i think, but maybe i think they should recreate a newer modle to make it even more so at the same price. project morphus does seem exciting but only come when the games are actually really enthrallin and not just a walk through an open world. give it time. playstation classics please play now for sure and a software update with more media power for sure aslong as it does not take any power away from any other feature it currently has i.e twitch and the vita, is a meh. not really that intrested althou my friend has one and graphics do seem pritty good, but y have one when i play it on my tv where i enjoy playing games, not in a train or on the go.
Very poorly worded title.
All it has to do at this point is exist when MS dropped the ball so hard.
I believe 7 of the 10 items in the list Microsoft's XB1 can already do. There is no reason from a consumer standpoint that the PS4 shouldn't be able to do them to. The other 3 are specific to the PS4 such as the light bar comment or cross-Vita functionality.
Why are people so hung up on the headline this is a good article that highlight things Sony must absolute do... (except the Vita with extra buttons not sure that one is necessary) I will add some other things to the list, it should have an activity log which is something Nintendo consoles have but Sony could take to the next level with being able to filter games from apps and having social network integration....... they also need to include the Vita content manage capabilities the PS3 had
