It certainly looks great. Can't wait to try the PS+ version. If it plays as good as it looks I'll upgrade soon after.
If this turns out to be a top class game i think all ps+ subscribers should upgrade. We need to support these devs as much as we can so they keep the goods coming.
It looks fantastic, and I agree. I'm absolutely going to play the PS+ version just to see it in action, but unfortunately I'm awful at racing games so probably won't upgrade. =/
Totally agree. I'd love to see these guys put out another game as successful as the first Motorstorm. I hope this thing is huge. I hope we get another Motorstorm, too. Lol.
"There's no 2D crowds, there's no baked lighting; everything's real, everything's dynamic, every shadow is cast from a light source. We needed all that horsepower to deliver that visual splendour." Music to my ears. :D
This is awesome. I watched last week's "Canada" video again and it's hard to explain, but the cars have so much "presence" on the track. They seem to take up space and inhabit the environment in a way that I haven't seen before. And the lightting, and reflectioins,... astonishing. Also, looking at the track itself and the details in the background, I noticed 0 pop-in. I haven't purchased a racing game in years, but this might break that streak. With the PS+ version to try out, everyone should be able to make the value judgement as to whether this game deserves their money. And judging from this preview, it just might be. Can't wait.
I'll try it and much like everyone else pay for the upgrade if it plays well. It'll be a big download though I would have thought! Fingers crossed my logitec wheel works with it.
Should have been canned, delaying a game by a year is worrying.
Looking at the results, it was absolutely the right decision to delay the release. It looked awesome last year, but it looks so much better now after being polished.
Your comment should have been canned. What part of this game shows anything to worry about?
I'm not surprised.
Glad to see the game shaping up well. Looks like the extra year of dev time is paying off...
