Slightly disappointed to hear that the story doesn't measure up, but I loved Bastion, so I'm definitely gonna give this a shot.

Well, you can either take the word of one review or take into account all the other reviews that say the opposite and score it higher.

Or... we can just wait to play the game, experience the story for ourselves, and form our own opinion.

It's just that the only way to truly decide whether or not one likes a story is to experience it first-hand if the reception is a little mixed.

This review isn't the only one mentioning that the story is a bit obscure/hidden. That could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the preferences of the individual person.

Anything from the folks who made Bastion is worth checking out.

Meanwhile over at ign the story gets high praise.

Certain things are just too subjective for a review I think.

This review is not a big deal for me. On top of that, I was already sold when I saw the live demo during the PS4 unveil and by watching the launch trailer.
