MMGN writes: Shooters often struggle to validate their senseless killing gameplay. They just aren't compelling enough. Wolfenstein: The New Order is an exception, weaving through a fascinating alternate reality in which the Nazi’s won and now essentially control the world. The foundations are set early with a spectacular opening stanza, leading into an alluring tale of war, retribution and resistance. It has the story, characters and pacing to compliment its most engaging gameplay mechanics, including a great RPG-lite perk system, fuelling what is most certainly an exciting reinvigoration of the old-school shooter.
