The ‘Forecasting VR’s Adoption Over the Next 5 Years’ event features an all-star line up including the likes of GameFace Labs CEO Ed Mason, Formation 8 partner Drew Oetting, Jaunt VR CEO Jens Christensen, Sixense CEO Amir Rubin and, of course, Oculus VR founder Palmer Luckey.

Of course its going to be a niche market, but as long the support is there indefinitely the market can grow. Luckily the top middleware engines UE4 and Cryengine support Oculus off the bat.

If backed all the way in 5-10 years we might not need to buy a new TV set again. I believe its the next move in video and games. Well, until holographic projection arrives, in something like 15-20 years...
