Man... Sony ditches the pseye, and the move, and now the kinect?

I can see why these guys think Nintendo should drop the gamepad. Fortunately, that's not how they roll.

Ditches? Sony has ditch them, move can work with their vr and the new pseye works with it.

Nintendo's gamepad hasn't been anything they hype it to be and no many games really suppory playing games on it.

As for Kinect, you are comparing Kinect 1.0 with 2.0. Which 1.0 show up late vs 2.0 that was build with the Xbox One.

The Wii U gamepad is great. It is supported by a TON of games. You clearly do not have a Wii U. I wish my PS4 had a gamepad, like Wii U. Here are just a few games that use the gamepad really well, and not to mention almost all of the Wii U games can be played using ONLY the gamepad.

Splinter Cell, Zombi U, Need For Speed, BOPS2, Zelda Wind Waker, Trine 2, Rayman, Nintendoland,Resident Evil, Mass Effect, Wonderfull 101, Dues EX.

There are MANY more. If you don't have a Wii U then you wouldn't know.

You must not have one, there is very many games. ZombiU you can't play on the gamepad screen, because its use for your backpack. Not even the Pro controller can be use for single player.

I'm just saying, nothing was bundled with Ps4. Sony took no risks with Ps4 besides losing 60 dollars per console and waiting for the investment return. Move is not supported with KillZone or any other Ps4 game I know of. Yet Nintendo gets no credit for remote compatability. They have a half-dozen control peripherals which is one of the main reasons why Nintendo should continue making hardware.

Those billion dollar losses have to be hurting Sony. It's a good thing they were able to sell that building last year to cusion the blow a little.

Wow the Xbox flags were waving this episode. Never heard so much spin and everything is wonderful for Microsoft and the complete opposite for Sony. A lot of the time I can just listen and shrug it off knowing you guys are Xbox fans, but this episode was ridiculous.

It's funny we could go back and listen to episodes when the Xbox was released and hear Paul saying how he is glad the Kinect is bundled because it will be supported, but now that it's removed it's going to somehow get even more support? What? There was just so much nonsense this episode. You guys really need a PlayStation guy on there to balance you out, and step in when the fanboy nonsense gets to crazy, that's why I like AAG better than the main show, I just wish Tyler had more of a backbone and didn't start to stutter when raising good debate.

RiPPN, you couldn't be any further from the truth. We appreciate the support however, your comment is a little south this time. At launch I've supported Kinect. I thought it was a great idea, not for motion gaming but for the rest of the vision, ie using the system, navigating with voice etc. Bundling it with a console forced it into folks homes, whether you agree or not. Now, with the option for a Kinect Less Bundle, I still think its a great idea. However, in terms of support, were talking about Game Support which in all honesty I dont think was Microsofts true focus for Kinect this time around. Sure, Developers will make less games, but is it any less than Sony deves making move games or games that use the PS Eye? Gamers have an option, and whether you bundled a camera in or not, if a gamer didn't want a motion game by RARE then they wouldn't have bought it anyway.

Therefore, Devs may now look at the instal base for Kinect machines as a driver to how much they invest in motion gaming, and in all seriousness my gut feeling is with or without Kinect, motion gaming was on the slide big time. Wii is over, Move died, Kinect survived but now has died (for gaming). So further investment is probably frivalous.

But, will I still recommend Kinect? Sure, for all the other reasons I use it (aside from gaming) which I really enjoy and so long as people base their decision on that fact, you'll be fine.

As for a PS4 person, the door is open and so are we. Its not our fault if last episode there was so much Xbox News and nothing else really for us to discuss apart from resolution debates which we steer away from as we are trying our best to be objective and open. The only difference between DJ show and AAG show is Tyler, yes he is a PS4 gamer, but also games on other systems and is also objective. I think your yearning for more Playstation news which is cool, but we cover the biggest stories each week, so thats why one epsiode you love us, the next you chastize us, we cant win.

Either way its cool.

why game journalist care if Sony loses 1 blion as whole company (Playstation is only one of the departments ) and dont care how many MS lost as a whole company ...MS pays alot of money for propaganda ...while inclining more and more toward PS4 this is the chance for Sony to revitalize motion controls (while others they re dropping them) (move,eye,DS4)with new AAA exclusive move games, we have not yet seen quality move games that could use the true potential of the peripheral (even in Wii)

Yes i did own a wii u and the gamepad is sooo great wii u's are flying off the shelves as we speak(no I don't think the gamepad is great because all it's done is hurt the wii u in sales.) I will say this again Nintendo throught because of the run away success of the wii that it was apple of the big 3. Nintendo right now is in a mess because the wii u has no identity( when moms think of Nintendo they think 3ds or wii). Look MS finally realized hay new customers don't want Kinect and hay Nintendo new customers don't want the gamepad and no the gamepad is not unique when all these kids have ipads or ipad minis. I don't understand why they don't play too all the strengths of the wii like including a wiimote and include the Pro Controller for hardcore gamers the best of both worlds(sell the gamepad as a add on but with 1080p res.)
