Just another month and we should be hearing something! Be strong!

if we don't see anything on kh3 at e3 I'm gonna cry

sonypsnow3629d ago

"Launch of large‐scale online titles developed by Western studios starting from the fiscal year ending 3/2015"

Deus Ex MMORPG probably in development & be announced at E3 2014.

Magicite3629d ago

KH2.5 this year, KH3 next year (hopefully).

colonel1793629d ago (Edited 3629d ago )

Why have people not realized that they just started production on KH 3. Nomura is working with FF XV, and they will not go to full production until they finish it. It would take at least a couple of years, and that's without taking account how much time SE takes to release games.

Kingdom Hearts 3 won't release until at least 2017. Even Nomura said that they announced KH 3 way too early, but they decided to do it so that people was at ease knowing it was coming.

EXVirtual3628d ago

2016, preferably 2017. Why do people still hold onto the notion that KH3 has been in development for a sufficient amount of time?

MrSwankSinatra3629d ago (Edited 3629d ago )

How the hell do smartphones get ff agito but we can't get a localization of type 0 on PSP or vita?

barb_wire3629d ago

That's SE for you, forever chasing that elusive mobile money, which just isn't there (at least not in the numbers they'd want).

KonsoruMasuta3629d ago

Because it's getting released in Japan where type 0 was released. At this point, the west might not even get Agito.

MrSwankSinatra3629d ago

Hajime Tabata said agito "will definitely be localized"

KonsoruMasuta3629d ago

Oh, I guess this has a chance then.

Last I heard before this, they were still on the fence about it.

Eonjay3629d ago

Its like I just read an article saying KH3 wasn't out this year.

Jubez1873629d ago

Dude if you thought it was coming out this year then you weren't being realistic.

Eonjay3629d ago

Honestly, I will take it whenever its ready but I don't mind waiting... after all at this point its been years... I figured it would be out next year at the soonest because the E3 conferences said "Now in Development" with very little footage. Not really too difficult to figure out.

VlllAxelLea3629d ago

still waiting for the release date for 2.5 /:

MegaRay3629d ago

Hope it release August-September worldwide.
(Kh I.5 released September-November worldwide if I recall correctly)

Yuji Naka guilty of insider trading breaks silence to accuse Square Enix producer of lies

Yuji Naka was fined $1.2 million and given a suspended jail sentence for the crime.

Profchaos8d ago (Edited 8d ago )

I find his comments around how Balan turned out to be very insightful as to why the game is trash. He basically apologises for its existence

solideagle7d ago

can you please give some of us who don't know anything about this, a summary of what happened?

Chocoburger7d ago

Balan was knowingly rushed out by S-E, it had an extremely short dev cycle and was fairly low budget.
Naka was the game's director until near the end when he was fired or perhaps he quit, I forgot.

carrotcakeag7d ago

@Chocoburger Yeah they did fire and replace him which caused him to unload a bunch of rants about the company. The project only existed because of Naka in the first place, he convinced Square to give him one shot at making a platformer. They gave him an opportunity but pulled the rug out before he was done for reasons not explained.

Please o please don't turn dragon quest into final fantasy square enix we dont wont that. Dragon quest works well just as it I. Plus you'll piss off Japanese fans to.

jznrpg11d ago

Hopefully they don’t. From this it doesn’t sound like that is the case and development is just taking too long.
