6 Last-Generation Gaming Innovations That Need To Die This Generation

The last generation of gaming brought some new ideas, but maybe some of those ideas shouldn't live on. (Assassin's Creed, Batman: Arkham City, Gears of War, Industry, Tomb Raider, Uncharted Series)

Besides the motion controls, I don't really see why you'd want any of these features(innovations) to "die" ? And even motion controls are still enjoyed by some people. Shouldn't these things just be improved upon and evolve for the future?

I don't think any of these should go. The last two need managing and changing though but they have their place. On rails moments shouldn't happen too often in games (some games do go over board with this) but they do have their place in some story based moments (sometimes almost necessary) and motion controls could really benefit from the indie seen (I look forward to what the outcome is)

I dont think any of those need to go. Just a little more polish on them.
