Can The Elder Scrolls Online Still Be Successful On Consoles In Six Month’s Time?

IM PLAYIN looks at the news that The Elder Scrolls Online will be delayed by half a year and discusses whether it will still be as successful in December.

"If you’ve not yet heard, ZeniMax and Bethesda recently released a statement informing us that The Elder Scrolls Online console version will be pushed back for at least six months. I’m not sure if I can find the words to describe how disappointed I am by this news. I was (and in some ways still am) incredibly excited for the release of The Elder Scrolls Online on the next-gen consoles, and the fact that I’ll have to wait another six months for that experience is quite disheartening."

I don't think it would have been successful if it released in a month let alone 6 months

Considering it's far from a success now...probably not.

How to make it a success is to remove the £15/month subscription, and make it so once you've bought the game, its free forever.
Though I've heard the game itself is kinda eh, so getting rid of the subscription might not do much.

I doubt it
They should just cancel the console versions now and do a Final Fantasy 14 route.

What do people hate about the game on pc? How can you improve it? What works? What doesn't?

Then change that in the game and THEN release it on consoles and update the PC version. It might be costly at first, but that's the only way I see this game surviving for more than a year tops!

They wont do this though. Judging by how they released the game, how weak the story is and how the game is set up (money first, fun later), they don't really give a fuck

Bethesda should have never allowed Zenimax Online Studios to make an Elder Scrolls, nor should they allow them ever again. They aren't good enough to make a good elder scrolls game, plain and simple

Elder Scrolls Online was PAINFULLY average, anti social and not even worth the 60 price tag, let alone the 15 / month
Where Skyrim was one of my fav RPG's ever, ESO will be on my most dissapointed list =(

It's not exactly a raging success on the PC at the moment.. in fact (IMO) pretty sure it's a disaster sales wise..

I have no confidence whatsoever for either console version, if it does indeed come out in 6 months (can see it being moved to Feb or Mar 2015)

The only reason why I wanted to play TESO, it's because there is no other WRPG at the moment on PS4, but that won't be the case in 6 months. I bet they need the time to figure out how to turn the game into a FTP on console.
