Compile Heart released today more story details, the key art (that you can see above) and the first trailer of the upcoming JRPG Omega Quintet, which will be the first PS4 exclusive entry in the genre. A new official website was also opened.
I hope this game is turn-based
Dont ask for turnbased. You will get tons of disagrees or worse, bubble downs. I commented in the FF15 article that I would have preferred it in the classical style instead of action and I got 38 disagrees without a single agree. People these days hate turnbased RPGs with a passion. They are outdated! They are monotonous! Blah blah blah! Stupid kids!
Back in my day you had to take turns with the enemies to attack! Now we gots all these kids running around with their fancy-pancy real-time crap! it's too damn chaotic for my old eyes. /s I'm quite surprise so many gamers are against turn-based combat.
its not even the fact that FF15 is real time combat its that IT ALWAYS WAS like that. When it was versus not once did i every see someone complain about the combat style, but now with the name change it has out of no where become a problem
It's not that it has out of nowhere became a prob , per se When it was versus it was "just a spin off" , not a main final fantasy title . Sure a very eagerly expected spinoff and more popular than FFXIII . Now that it's become a main title i can see why people lament the loss of turn based FF even atb based and quick paced . This wont stop me from enjoying FFXV , but it's indeed a big change
GAAAHHH THE CUTENESS! IT BURNS!
switching from attacking monster to dancing girls i really don't get the point.
Seriously i dont get it . I'm a big jrpg fan , but i will never settle for Compil Heart's brand of mediocrity . They did have a few good titles , but they do love to flood the market with crap as one of the first jrpg provider of a given platform Also you'd even have to be told it's on "next gen" , as it certainly doesnt feel and look that way
Greatness, cuteness, day one, i must, I Must!!!!!
Genius trailer. I love this stuff, one minute they are knee deep in brutal action and the next they are singing Hello Kitty style songs... I just need some heavy Japanese voice-overs going all metaphorical on me, a strong silent type in the background and a catgirl and this is day one for me. Wait what am I saying, this allready is a day one buy for me... dem girls had me when they started singing on a stage
ok, the trailer started off nice but whats up with the pop girl group?
one word: moe That crap is never going away...it ruins the jrpgs
Check out this anime and you will understand. "Senki Zesshou Symphogear G"
Wow, people will get hype for anything once the word "exclusive" is thrown about lol .
I want this if this is anything like the Anime Senki Zesshou Symphogear G this will be amazing.
Hyperdimension much with the character designs. How about they give me the 4th game instead of this. Maybe it'll be a big budget looks like a ps4 game... Game.
Looks mediocre, at best!
Compile Heart being Compile Heart :D Not expecting a graphical powerhouse here cause CH is a fairly small studio. The cuteness is a tad overwhelming to say the least. Galapagos last JRPG Fairy Fencer F was a very good game from what i heard. The difference in direction with this game is intriguing, besides I love Compile Hearts games no matter what western game media thinks of them. They are light hearted 'not taken seriously' type of games that are uniquely Japanese at its core.
Well that was just a video no gameplay or in game graphics as I understand so I want to see some combat learn more about the characters & the story & as for the graphics well I don't expect something crazy like FFXV for example, this is a small studio after all but I hope it will at least be on par with PS3 & not PS2 quality like it was some JRPGs on PS3, anyway let's w8 & see I don't mind the J-POP idol concept btw I'm a huge anime fan & I'm fine with anything as long the combat, the story & the characters is interesting.
