From a marketing point it probably seemed like the greatest idea in the history of ideas. A combination of the successful ideas of procedurally generated games and the shitty let’s plays of horror games. That’s amazing. Shitty let’s players can make endless videos promoting our product! Fantastic! Sadly, there is more to art than marketing, and Daylight (Zombie Studios) ends up failing in every way imaginable. The potential was there, behind the crazy idea. But they just couldn’t live up to it.
