3 year cycle should get rid of the 'milking'.

Sy_Wolf1387d ago

No, it won't. They have 3 December teams working on CoD so they can still release one a year.

You misunderstood the statement. It will be released yearly, but each studio (3) will have 3 years to develop their COD.

Has it really been three years? I mean they said the other COD games had 2 years and even then I couldn't believe them with how bare those games were, same assets, same engine, really short campaign, same multiplayer. It doesn't take two years to make roughly the same game when the majority of the work is done for you

It's like they work as slow as they can in the office for the first year and when the other teams COD game comes out they are like "Holy shit...guys....GUYS come on we have a year left, we better get a move on"

I like this idea and I hope that EA/dice will do the same with the battlefield series. After all the issues with BF4 ( some of which still need to be fixed ). Perhaps they could give us some more DLC every 4 months after the 1st year.

if you need activision to tell you the benefits of a longer development cycle then you are an idiot.

Its still horrible you have three teams focus on one franchise so they can release it every year. They try make it seem like they still not milking the franchise. What a waste of resources
