Xbox One’s May System Update Beta

This article will give you a little information about Xbox One’s May System Update Beta from my point of you.

Firstly, the officials announced it for May, but we can’t be sure, as they have a habit in postponing the launches, so this could be anywhere from the half or the end of May until the half of June, maybe.

Looks like some decent updates... Getting a bit burnt out on updating my controller every time I turn on my xbox though. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they're improving it but I would love for them to be able to roll something major out to fix everything at once rather than trickle it out.

I actually only updated mine the one time. How significant could the updates possibly be? I sure haven't noticed, though I'm sure I'll get around to it eventually. I poon nubs regardless.... =D

I'm really happy for the Snap volume balancer. They did include it in a previous update, but it was buried in the craziest sub-menus, it was basically useless. Nice to have it easily accessible. One of my favorite updates thus far has been the "Xbox, volume up/down" adjuster. Making that feature useful was huge for me. One less reason to get off my arse and find the remote.

Will definitely be opting in to help improve Kinect functionality. Now, 60% HD used and rising, hoping they address this at E3.

Keep em comin.

here here! I think the controller updates are manual, as far as I can tell anyways. My conches are wireless though.

Really? Hmm... I've actually had to do it 3 times now. I'm going to have to check into that. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to the rest of the update.

@Gamer You don't have to update your controller every time you sign on.

Only when MS prompts us for a controller update. This is only a small update.

MS said some will be big and some will be small.

The more updates the better I say!

Sweet, all the updates have been great so far and only improved things. However, this update finally does the only thing I had a legit complaint about....adjusting volume between snap and main windows...we've needed this.

I like the way my X1 updates without me even knowing sometimes, I don't even know when/how this happens but its cool.
I used to hate waiting for updates when I turned my 360 on, if it still worked that way I could see this being annoying...thank god it doesn't.

Same here...all these updates I have yet to do one manually..

make an update to make games 1080p and remove kinect and lower price and then we might find these updates worth while... also still forgetting about dlna and mp3 support.. stuff that last gen was capable of

Immorals1534d ago

Can we have an update where you go away?

DJustinUNCHAIND1534d ago

Last gen wasn't capable of 1080p.

Xbox one supports dlna, use it all the time
