Entertainment Buddha's Owen Hibbert writes, "Swimsanity: Underwater Brawler is the new multiplayer party game from fledgling studio Decoy Games. The team is hoping to pull players in with its new PC exclusive title which is currently making waves on Kickstarter. Swimsanity mixes the party games players know and love such as Smash Bros and PlayStation Allstars but adds a twist on the formula. SwimSanity, as you may have already guessed from the title, throws players deep into the ocean with nothing but a gun and some flippers to get around each arena. I recently got a chance to try out a preview build and chronicled my journey for you lovely bunch."
The Humble Black History Month Bundle just launched. It includes Mafia III Definitive Edition, Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, and more. As always, a percentage goes to support charity.
The Prime Gaming lineup for February has been revealed, and it's a romantic one this month, with dating sims aplenty (and some action games too!).
Man, Prime games have been getting rougher and rougher. Most of the games they've given out that I've currently got installed were given out months/years ago. Many of the newer games they've offered have either not been terribly exciting, old enough most people who cared to buy the games have bought it, or they've been included in bundles elsewhere many times already. And I even remember they'd occasionally do special things, like Black Friday a few years back they gave out games like Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny. Nothing like that since.
It is a nice bonus of being a Prime member, getting these games, but I think I'd rather they give out 1 decent game every month than the lower quality, kind of scattershot 5 they do now. Then again, if you don't buy too many games you can get solid ones now and again (Void Bastards, Wizards of Legend, etc). But at least for me, personally, haven't gotten a lot in recent memory that's really excited me. Sadly looks the same for this month.
Xbox Wire: "The November Games with Gold lineup is here! On the Xbox One, and the soon to be released Xbox Series X|S, dispatch your adversaries from the shadows in Aragami: Shadow Edition, and test your shooter skills in the aquatic world of Swimsanity! And for our classic lineup via Backward Compatibility, be all you can be in the original Xbox title, Full Spectrum Warrior and crack your whip and prepare for adventure in the Xbox 360 game, Lego Indiana Jones."
This is especially bad when you take into account what sony is offering on ps4 and ps5
