OnlySP: Last time we reported on the puzzle count for The Witness it was somewhere in the 500 range. Now the game is up to 621 puzzles according to his latest Twitter update on the game.
621? Ok now release it already. All other puzzles can be DLC.
Nah...I don't think thats enough :) Tis but a mere Ice cream sprinkle....I WANT A WHALE. Joking aside, yeah I want a solid release date now.
Cool, but more is better in this case!
Well, it depends on how long each puzzle takes. But if those 621 puzzles take at least 1 to 2 minutes to solve then we're looking at 10 to 20 hours of just puzzle time, not including exploring the game world.
Jesus another game that belongs on OUYA
no game deserves that punishment...
Jesus another comment that should be ignored and marked as trolling.
You have any logical explanation for that? Remember, *logical*.
well as its a free world and internet, at least til Comcast and Verizon buy up every one, I dont have to justify because of your need for logic. its another crappy mobile....I mean indie that should be on an andriod console. You kids these day have simple minds or something your impressed by crap games. His braid game sucked too. Indie game is just another word for low budget crap fest usually, there are exceptions but generally there are more useless games then good ones. Liking indie games like this one is the cool thing now. The only indie that impressed me was FEZ and I didn't buy it til it was discounted because 15$ was too much for such a simple game. The conspect was interesting but I wouldn't buy the sequal even if Fish did make it. A non stop puzzle now counts as a game to get excited about?!? Really? Jesus Christ I must be getting old I just dont understand this new generation of gamers its like you want a time machine to get in and take gaming back 30yrs. You people get excite for what amounts to Atari 2600 games.
@ Ittoryu I won't say this often, but you sound like a moron. You go between calling The Witness a mobile game to an Atari 2600 game, when it looks far beyond what any of those devices can technologically achieve. ---- "You kids these day have simple minds or something your impressed by crap games. His braid game sucked too." Having an appreciation for the more creative and unique games this industry has to offer is being simple-minded now? Sorry, but that particular affliction is caused by those that cannot step outside their comfort zone, and believe that AAA game development is so unique that it doesn't have an issue of "diamond in the rough". Braid was an award-winning, top-tier independent game of last-gen, It has helped to shape the "games as art" message, and is an established part of the gaming pantheon. Braid has some great, clever design, really nice art style and was a solid game. ----- You are calling us kids for being excited for good game design, strong visual flair and lots of content? Is it that you just don't have the cognitive capacity for deep puzzles and exploration? You sound like a person that has been a "dudebro" gamer their entire life and cannot understand why people are more open-minded and have a deep appreciation of the diversity this industry has to offer.
I'm 32 years old. The "kid" shit is a typical response on the internet by someone who can't, by your own admission, use real logic for an opinion. I've been gaming a long time, and I know a good game when I play one. The real problem is when people think that an "indie" game is automatically garbage, simply because. There are countless garbage "AAA" games that get a pass, again, just because. But that doesn't get mentioned. A non stop puzzle? lol is that what you think the game is for real? No wonder you're so belligerent. It's over your head.
So this game is coming to Xbox One? I thought Blow didn't want anything to do with MS?
Well yea, that and the whole parity clause thing, but until something is said otherwise, it's a timed exclusive, because that's all it's ever been labeled as.
Maybe by timed they meant PC? didn't think he wanted to work with Microsoft either.
I don't think so. It's coming to PC after the initial PS4 release, and I don't think any other platforms have been announced. With all the anti-Microsoft talk from Blow I really don't see him releasing for Xbox.
