Video games have a pretty fascinating trait. The very idea of being restricted from viewing all it’s content unless you can beat the challenges that lies ahead, is something that other medias will never propose to you. Many modern games seems to want to hold you by the hand throughout their campaigns, and you will simply skip along, mowing down hordes of enemies without breaking a sweat. Dark Souls II is not that kind of game. It will slap your face and make you cry. Progress is something that is hard earned, and that makes victory taste all the more sweeter.
