Fixing The Kickstarter Video Game Bubble

Greg Micek writes: "I'm a bit of a romantic when it comes to crowdfunding games. I believe the heart of the movement is a group of people doing a little to help someone a lot. Showing someone in need that there are people out there that have the faith and belief in them to hand over some hard earned money so they can do their thing."

There is no Kickstarter "bubble": the very model is broken.

Either someone making one already has a nearly finished project and is using Kickstarter as a gauge, they just started a project, had no understanding or underestimated forcing them to put out something that's incomplete or not at all, or its just a straight up con which again will either fold or put out something unfinished.

Still people support it because of the "ASAP" mentality that's become accepted.
