Gameinformer :

"By now, you probably know that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is our June cover story. We’ve shared the first screenshot and you’ve likely seen the first trailer, too. Now we have some more details about the story and the features.

The year is 2054, and the world has suffered an attack on its militaries around the world. Jonathan Irons (Kevin Spacey) is the founder and president of the world’s largest private military corporation, Atlas Corporation, and you are one if its advanced soldiers."

This game visually looks great so far, but I have to be honest...I'm a little reserved about making COD so far into the future. I personally like for it to stay a little more realistic and present day (Ghosts was even a little to futuristic for me). I hope I'm wrong and Sledgehammer delivers a solid game, or else we will have two companies putting out crap CODs and only one (Treyarch) putting out quality ones) IMO. Still to early to tell of course, but just based off the little we have to go on so far...

I'm just happy that we have a new team creating a new COD series with a fresh set of ideas. Hopefully the game has its own distinct "feel" too that's different from the other COD games. So far I think it looks great.

what it just looks like BO2 but if fanboys want to continue supporting the copy and paste effort that not my problem

Ironically, this changeup is exactly what I've been waiting for to try getting back into the series. Loved Elysium for the setting, absolutely dig Spacey, don't mind Titanfall similarities.

Only thing is I prefer BF MP because of vehicles. But at least the SP in this looks promising, and I hate EA so much right now that I dunno....

Go sledgehammer....I'm loving this three years cycle....we get ghost 2 in another 2

Salooh1602d ago (Edited 1602d ago )

Don't think it will be Ghost . It must be Mw4 after 2 years. Next year will be Black ops 3 or World at war 2

Really looking forward to this game...........
Awaiting the release of information about the multiplayer side of things...
Hope they use the rumble triggers and Dedis this time around on XB1

Isn't it kinda puzzling that a titan in titanfall ,done by Vince zapella and company, was named Atlas
and in the cod reveal trailer the exoskeleton guy had the logo Atlas on his gear????? hmmmmm

I'm kind of done with COD...

I never played them for the campaign and the multiplayer is more of the same with minor tweaks.

I have to say that the first thing that popped in my head when I heard this name of this game was...

GamingTruth1602d ago

more of the same is what you and a couple cod haters think that show thereselves only online but we cant find you on call of duty midnight launches even though you fags are probably still there in line talking crap to yourselves cause your internet truth of call of duty 'sameness' doesnt exist of the internet youd get laught out of line

^^^^^WHAT???? COD is trash! Played this series for far too long, should of stopped at MW2. They actually got a few titles out of me after that which I still regret. Feel bad for the people that keep expecting anything different from these guys.

TheSaint1602d ago

Haven't player CoD since MW2, though this has peaked my interest, I hope the gameplay lives up to the visuals.

About time CoD raised it's game a bit.
