Review: ‘Child of Light’, A Beautiful Game That’s Almost Right | GammaSquad

Child of Light is a charming first step towards a game that may never happen.

The story is too old to be commented.

Man, there is no end to the praise on this title! Ubisoft made something pretty awesome here...

Clover9041239d ago

Yes hey did. I can't get enough of this game. The art is amazing, the music is brilliant, and the combat is so much fun (and this is coming from someone who rarely ever touches RPGs). Really hope this game succeeds, because I'd love to get a sequel in the future. And at only $15 this game is a steal.

Cryptcuzz1239d ago

I agree, this game is so awesome and hope it becomes a series. Better yet, I hope more games like this are being developed.

I am still early in the game, I barely learned how to fly and just recruited that Jester guy.

How far along in the game are you?

Clover9041238d ago

If you're talking about Rubella, it's actually a female in search of her brother.

Bimkoblerutso1239d ago

Yeah, Grandia's battle system and some ridiculously beautiful art...game is choice.

MeteorPanda1238d ago

Honestly l just got the deluxe for the keyring XD

Jackhass1238d ago

There's a deluxe edition?!

stanr1239d ago

Now I gotta try this game, too many people are talking about it.

GentlemenRUs1238d ago

I'd play it but... U-Don't-PLAY DRM is in it...

Jackhass1238d ago

Oh, just play it anyways.

Sly-Lupin1238d ago

As far as asinine DRM goes, Uplay is far from the worst offender.

And, of course, the game is on plenty of other platforms.

Sly-Lupin1238d ago

It needs to be said that this is a terrible review that fails to explore the quality of the game in any respect. It's just a lot of meaningless babble that only conveys the single childish opinion that "it's good."

Reviews require qualitative analysis... this reads more like a first-grader's book report.
