Amazon has already begun taking preorders on the next generation Call of Duty game Call of Duty Advanced Warfare and it looks as though this may be the final box art for the recently announced title.
Some dude, with a gun......yeah thats a Call of Duty Box
What do you want it to be, a race car with cool lights?
Yeah, that would be awesome Call of Duty: Overdrive Warfare You know someone a few years back sent a video to the makers of Call of Duty. It was selling them on the idea of a Call of Duty Police Warfare or something. Your a Swat team who raids houses filled with bad guys and drug dealers. Well, there is one Call of Duty game where someone is not holding a gun. Cough Ghost Cough.. It was the worst COD game too so maybe for good luck every game from now on need to have someone holding a gun.
looks like rejected Elysium boxart. But in all seriousness, I can appreciate the new(er) direction they are taking with this one. While I do not condone the idea of a near "annual" franchise, I can't help but show respect for Call of Duty. They have a formula, and it works. Call of Duty 1, 2, and the first Modern Warfare are some of the best FPS's I've played. They deserve our respect. They are unwavering in their mechanics, and their single player is always a (short) blast to play. I haven't played Call of Duty since the second modern warfare, not because I dislike the franchise, but because I was trying out other game genres. The animosity towards Call of Duty is quite bewildering to me. It's a popular game. It's wildly successful, and it adheres to its own conventions. It listens to its own fanbase, and is dedicated to pleasing them. Is that really a sign of a "bad" developer? What have they done to warrant such vitriol? People need to grow up. Every game is out there to make money. Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft are not your friends. They sell games they think will net them large profits. There is not one game developer that is in the industry for the "love of games" alone.
More importantly, does anyone here care. I can understand where seeing the artwork for a case can be and is of interest to some but not here surely
Actually its very important. From a marketing point most shoppers will pass over your game (book or movie) if the case doesn't grab their attention. This case is awful, typical Activision.
yeah i agree with you Summons75 ACTIVISION thinks by putting a "macho white male" on the cover will make white people feel better about their COD purchase ! SAD but true!!
I don't know man. I've never seen a call of duty box art with a guy holding gun... Oh wait...
I don´t know I don´t care
Guy with a gun, cool.
As far as I can tell this has the legit box art, at least for the PS4: http://www.callofdutyforeve...
Actually looks really cool.. Like Elysium style box art, which is fine by me..Definitely better than the battlefield series ones imo...
Who cares? And if you do care why?
Is it coming to Gameboy Advanced too?
