Sony ‘Mocked Up’ Move Controller with Analog Sticks for Project Morpheus

VRFocus - Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) has confirmed that it has ‘mocked up’ a version of its PlayStation Move motion controller, adding analog sticks for use with the Project Morpheus PlayStation 4 virtual reality (VR) headset. SCE World Wide Studios Immersive Technology Group Director Simon Benson revealed as much speaking at a recent panel hosted by Develop, attended by VRFocus, suggesting that the company had tested a range of input methods for VR.

The story is too old to be commented.

something that microsoft should have done with kinect but didn't follow through because of the whole "You are the controller" bullshit!

They do track the controller with Kinect 2, but I agree they should make peripherals that are aimed at motion gaming such as Move or the Nintendo Chucks. Not only would it provide fun experiences but would also be a way to sell peripherals and make more money. Now that it tracks IR the tech is there, so I am sure they will eventually.

i don't want to have to buy a new move controller. but whatever it takes to make VR work, I hope they do.

You probably need to buy the camera as well, if they go down the rift route.
