Beatshapers has announced the official release date of Z-Run for the ps vita, as well as various game details.
From the review: "A fun concept and addictive gameplay cannot make up for an overly short single-player campaign and a lack of variety. Z-Run has all the right elements, but is over far too quickly. On the other hand, I cannot deny having a great time running through the urban wasteland dodging zombies. Hopefully this leads to a fully-featured sequel."
Alissa from Twinfintie writes, "ZRun is a post-apocalyptic blend of two majorly popular ideas: zombie games and runner games. The game tasks you with running through a zombified city where you must jump, duck, dodge, and fight your way past the hordes of the undead roaming throughout it. In theory, the game sounds great. The actual execution? Not so much."
GamingLives takes a look at Beatshapers' zombie runner for PlayStation Vita.
"If you like games with repetitive gameplay or are looking for something that will keep you entertained for short bursts of time then Z-Run is probably worth a punt. At £7, though, it seems expensive for what, in essence, looks and plays like a generic running game that you can pick up for nothing on your phone."
I love my Vita but an endless runner for $10? No thanks. It's basiclly a phone game.
