Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Review | TheGameJar

Chris Jacobs: "Final Fantasy XIV was originally released in 2010, and by-and-large, wasn’t received at all well. The game was heavily criticised post-launch, and eventually, little more than a year later, Square Enix announced that the game would be rebuilt almost from the ground up. ‘Version 2′ of the game – Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn – was released (or re-released I suppose) on PC and PS3 in 2013, and now the game is now launching on Sony’s latest console, the PlayStation 4. Having kept an eye on the game for some time now, I jumped at the chance to dive in to Eorzea, and kick its digital tyres. Have Square Enix successfully revived the once troubled MMO?" (Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, PC, PS3, PS4) 9/10
