First impressions are important. Warlock 2: The Exiled crashed the first time I booted it up, then it did the same the 2nd and 3rd time – and I still have no idea why. A reinstall fixed the issue, but Warlock 2 certainly wasn’t off to a good start. Sadly, the technical issues continued: key presses were missed and frame rates and general speed dropped during busy turns (incidentally, my PC is just above the recommended spec.) First impressions are important, which is a great shame because behind the technical missteps is a solid 4x strategy game.
Dealspwn: "The Humble Store Winter Sale continues with some smart PC bargains."
Paradox Interactive today announced that “Wrath of the Nagas,” the new expansion for Warlock 2 that’s loaded with serpentertainment, is available worldwide for Windows PC and, for the first time, Mac and Linux. Wrath of the Nagas, which adds a new race of slithering sorcerers to the turn-based strategy wargame from Ino-Co Plus, is now available for $14.99 from digital retailers worldwide.
For the asking price of $29.99 there’s a lot to like if you enjoy strategy games in general. Owners of the original Warlock: Master of the Arcane game may be disappointed with the lack of new content, but newcomers to the series will be pleasantly surprised.
