I find it odd that share factory will let us add music via usb to create and share a video but supporting mp3 playback in general has been left out.

Its a good start. The next big update should start tackling other features that the ps3 already has. All I want is streaming.

But, this is a huge update for those who love to capture video. Also, they should give a discount or include music app with PSN+. It is pretty awesome to b able to listen while playing games. Now, they need an rss or podcast player.

I'm glad of the update and the video editor but after five months I expected more features. I look forward to watching 720p streams later. But I want to be able to use my PS3 remote with my PS4 and play movie files, I doubt these take too long to implement. Sony need to keep us better informed.

I do agree...

For a feature I'll never use, (but AWESOME for those that will) all the coding time/effort put into it, could (IMO) have been utilised for features the majority want.

DLNA, MP3 Playback, Folders,Personal Themes etc....

I miss those too. Still using PS3 for media playback. Hopefully they'll bring it somewhen down the line. I've got a hunch you won't be able to store them the way you can on PS3 though. I'm guessing they will simply bring video/photo player with USB support.

A simple notification isnt too much to ask for especially since te ps3 has it.

Glad you can switch user from the playstation button instead of having to log out.

The dim isn't as dim as I would like but I'll survive as its better than nothing.

not really much for me but I'm happy for those who like to share stuff. I personally think all this share social stuff only takes away RAM that rather can be used for gaming instead. A clean simple OS that allows as much free RAM as possible to make every game run 60fps 1080p with a breeze :3

No Share Factory for the Uk. I really think this update was over exxagerated, it was pretty minor IMO, anyone whos read the full uipdate notes would understand where Im coming from.

If your having trouble downloading share factory do not look in apps or new just search for it and the dload button will be there.

If you are having trouble finding share factory. Go to apps, go all the way to the right and press "view all" and it will be the first app listed.

Maybe just a little lol. But still they should have included the friends notification at least. It's a social feature but its a feature that should have been there since day one. But as far as this sharing, Facebook, Twitter crap that these consoles are making more important than actual gaming related features are concerned I can do without them.

It better be more responsive for faster paced games, I remember playing NFS Rivals back in December via remote play and the controls felt delayed by at least 1.5 seconds between button executions.

I just downloaded the share project and having trying it out for a few I found out they really left out 1 important feature on that app. The feature to undo. It's very annoying having to save the project and then load up it again and look for the clip again to edit. So please just let me know if it's there because I don't see it.

ahahah, they finally fixed the playstation plus bug. l am sad however l had it coming l guess :P

Basically this patch removed the glitch of forever having playstation plus, you'd still have all the features available without actually having plus running in applications, l got so many free games..literally. l have 4 years of plus backed up so l was waiting for this moment to finally use em, lol

Even with that fix this patch is good however the store still doesn't load some pages after clicking on them which gets annoying. just takes you to a empty blue screen with a loading icon that never goes away

194mb, seems reasonable size and updating now. Will try to dim the controller LED light first thing after update.

EDit: After update, the light dimming feature on low really does make a difference on the eyes. It is more tolerable on the intensity now. I really don't know what else is there as the interface seems the same to me.
