GearNuke: "Daylight is the recently released indie horror game for the PS4 and PC. It might be one of the first Unreal Engine 4 title to be released on the PS4 and PC but it also comes with some absurdly high requirements."
My PC can handle this no problem.
uses 1.7 gb for me.. but it sux anyways
0.0 not even bf4 on ultra uses that much. Unreal engine 4 is scary.
It probably has to do with the procedural generation if the levels. Not insanely scary just not optimized.
It is as scary as it is beautiful.
I've been enjoying it. It's not as scary as something like Outlast or even Siren, but it's not bad with headphones on. I don't recommend playing in 3D though. The frame rate goes down to like 10 at that point. :/
thers no way this is optimized if it uses this much vram. id be embarrassed if i was a dev for this.
i know right. It's just hilarious to see devs boasting about how much ram their game uses, most of the time, the graphics are mediocre and still uses more ram than BF4 or Crysis. Which means it's unoptimized to hell and back.
icouldnt finish outlast lol. was very good for what i played though
If you played Outlast or even Resident Evil 1, this game doesn't come close to being even remotely scary. I bought it last night just for the discount and am sorely disappointed. This game is not in the least scary.
Bad optimization can be horrifying indeed.
