Ryan from Twinfinite writes, "Rob Lockhart thinks more people should learn how to code, and that there aren’t enough women in gaming. And so he has decided to do something about it.
Lockhart is the lead designer of Codemancer, an educational game that teaches children the basics of programming. The game features a strong female lead who must use magic to defeat the Evil Sorcerer and save her kidnapped father. Codemancer is being developed by Important Little Games, a small independent studio based in Chicago. A Kickstarter campaign launched for Codemancer on Monday, with a goal of $12,000. Twinfinite had a chance to chat with Lockhart via Skype about his studio’s upcoming game."
