Nintendo Enthusiast and its readers discuss whether Nintendo should step into the array of Virtual Reality.
Nintendo has gone beyond VR to AR.
The Wii U gamepad kind of has some of the same features as a VR helmet when you think about it. It's just not a VR helmet. It's obviously not as immersive, so Nintendo may not really need to do it this generation. That being said if Wii U gets more shooter games, I would like to use a VR setup and see how it does.
I wouldn't be surprise if Nintendo next console is based on this technology
Nintendo was going to back with Wii. They did AR and upcoming NFC.
If their next console comes with a Gamepad that can do some of the same stuff that we saw in the secret movie from Bravely Default, I think that would be enough for most of us to be satisfied.
I'm not sure I would like VR now. I'm 37, but when I was a kid, I dreamed one day we could play with VR. Back when the lawnmorer man was the movie to see at the time. Lol! But no nintendo needs to just bust out something to get all ages interested in.
