LEGO: The Hobbit May Include Third Film in DLC

Reports indicate that LEGO: The Hobbit will feature post-release DLC that will cover the content of the third Hobbit film. (3DS, LEGO Hobbit, PC, PS3, PS4, WB Games, Wii U, Xbox 360, Xbox One)

I really wish that they would tell us something about the handheld version. It seems absolutely ridiculous that they would release a game without even showing one screenshot of it or giving the tiniest piece of info about what will be in it. All we know is that "content varies between platforms." If they are so ashamed of the game that we can't even see what it looks like until it's on store shelves, perhaps they just shouldn't release it at all.

Bet you $1 they look and play nothing like the console versions. My Vita is more than capable of doing a LEGO game.. but no, we're given easy to play, pinch here, swipe there.. bah!

I'm with barb_wire on this one. Probably will follow the same path as LEGO Marvel Super Heroes and The LEGO Movie Video Game which is, in my opinion, a complete flop.

PS Vita has the hability to handle LEGO games just like the consoles but I can live with how they made LotR or Legends of Chima, with hubs where you can free roam between story levels.

I can say this enough, devs are being lazy.

Oh awesome. I was thinking of holding off purchase because I didn't want to see third film spoilers. Looks like I'm $60 poorer

I suppose it's better than making an entire new game for just one movie.

Yeah I was worried was gonna go down the indiana jones route at least with the Harry Potters they had 4 films in each game, 2 hobbit films in one game and no third one when this is the shortest book of the lot was just sounding like a bit of a con, I don't mind buying it in dlc as long as it's integrated well into the game and not charged at silly money anything near or over £10 is expensive as they should have just waited and done all 3 in 1.

Imo making 3 films out of the shortest book of the series is a big con too!

Nehhhh this really conflicts with my "no DLC" policy.
