Everybody loves Aquatic Ambiance, but there are like 3-4 other's from the first 2 DK Country games that are just Epic.

* Aquatic Ambiance - http://www.youtube.com/watc...

* Bayou Boogie - http://www.youtube.com/watc...

* Forrest Interlude - http://www.youtube.com/watc... ( The first one of the songs from this soundtrack I ever heard)

* In a Snow-bound Land - http://www.youtube.com/watc...

^ Some of my favorite songs of all time, regardless of genre or anything.

THOSE are why David Wise is awesome.

I am playing once per year the following:

Donkey Kong Country 2
Donkey Kong Country 3
Super Mario World
Zelda ALTTP
Plok
Super Metroid
Super Probotector

That Plok soundtrack is awesome - it's by the Follin brothers, who also did a ton of great C64 games and the amazing tracks for the not amazing game, Silver Surfer.

Plok was a great platformer for his era. It's a pity that it is not very known today...

Final Fantasy 3
Chrono Trigger
Killer Instinct
Donkey Kong Country 2
Super Punch Out

I still boot those up when I need a trip down memory lane
