Jade Raymond, one of the creators of the Assassin's Creed franchise, is now in charge of 300 people at Ubisoft Toronto. The game maker talks about her video game approach in this exclusive interview from GDC 2014.
Jade is one of the smartest women in gaming today.
Absolutely. I have a ton of respect for her.
I was job searching today( In Toronto) and seen quite a few job postings from ubisoft... you can make between $50,000 - $90,000 yearly! Damn I wish I followed my dreams of being a computer programmer back then.....:-(
Those must not be senior positions, I'd need to take a huge pay cut to work there. I don't know any experienced developers making under 100k. You can get better pay elsewhere, but it probably won't be as much fun ;)
Man, beauty and brains. Wish she was my waifu :p
Everybody loves Raymond
lol good one.
But at 36 years old she's definitely over the hill though... ...*sigh* just like a carton of milk...
I'm a negative creep I'm a negative creep I'm a negative creep and I'm stoned! Love that song. Bleach was their best album.
Women bosses are the worst, especially when they are young and attractive.
Not in my fantasies they are not.
@turgore It's obvious you A.) haven't had many bosses, or B.) don't know how to relate to women.
jade vs Corrinne Yu GO
Jade you are my inspiration in gaming. Honestly
Can't wait for the next game you make being emblematic of the problems you talk about in gaming. Keep being very... attractive?
