Originally, some events in the story of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes were going to play out quite differently. In an earlier version, Paz's dead body was lying in the cage next to Chico, forcing him to watch it gradually decompose.
Damn, that's pretty gruesome.
"War has changed." :P
Instead of that, you get an intestine bomb followed by a somewhere hidden (probably in the anus) bomb. WoW.
@pedro Guys I've played but not. Everyone else has, so lets try to not spoil anything. SLIGHT SPOILER I personally thought the second bomb was in her womb, placed in there after the gang rape.
That would of been awesome too! it fits Skull faces character nicely based on the tapes in the game.
lol the way it plays out now is pretty shocking as well.
I honestly couldn't believe one of the later tapes... I'd say this marks a big step towards a more gritty Metal Gear Solid, and I can't wait to see how this story unfolds.
hell no. That's even worse than seeing her getting raped.
I disagree. Both are pretty nausiating, but actually witnessing an act of brutality is much more disturbing than the product of brutality. A corpse is a corpse. What makes it sickening is what turned the person into a corpse.
damn Kojima really doesn't like Paz.
Paz means Peace and Kojima loves the idea of Peace. Her death signifies the death of peace and a darker Metal Gear Solid at least to me. Of course yes it will still feature funny and light hearted moments it will overall be looking at darker issues. Which I think is the purpose of Ground Zeroes it serves as a warning that Kojima is making a darker game
Hopefully there is some sort of redemption, or glimmer of hope at the game's conclusion. cough.. Solid Snake ..cough
So many wrong. I hope Kojima doesn't kill off all the main characters from Mother Base. I didn't see Strangelove or Huey in that chopper. There was a lot of good lore that went into Peace Walker and had huge ramifications with canon. And Phantom Pain taking place 9 years after operation Ground Zeros doesn't bold well for the relationships built in Peace Walker.
Strangelove was not at Mother Base at the time of the attack, as is explained by one of the briefing tapes. And we already know Huey is in The Phantom Pain.
real cool news. After seeing the state of motherbase and how PAZ and Chico ended, really left a sore note
I can see it now.... Buzzzz. Bzzz SNAKE - 'Miller, I see Paz. She is wearing fly Cammo......' MILLER - 'Nice. Like you wore in Groznygrad?' SNAKE - 'Yeah,.......wait! She's, she's dead.......Paz, why?' PAZ. - 'Hello Snake!' SNAKE. - 'PAZ? What's going on?'......... 'Damn it Miller. She's full of Introvenus Nano Machines!' MILLER. - 'Careful Snake. She is shooting maggots from her front cannon. Your weapons won't work against her. If only you had a ...... Snake! To defeat her you need to get behind her, and desinfect her corpse with the First Aid Spray.' SNAKE. - 'What?' MILLER. - 'Use QCQ from behind, and when she is in a choke hold use the First Aid Spray.'
Just finished the game and I kind of felt disturbed... seems a little extreme for a game.
I think he should go beyond that too because reality is much worst. But i bet only few will agree. I want kojima to create what it's in his mind and nothing stop him. If you want games to be mature and evolve then that's a really great step. But the current stuff is still great.
She deserved it!!!
I think Ground Zeroes was planned to be a much bigger game. Well not that much bigger but something that had a home hub and maybe 2 or 3 mission locations.
Yeah i also had that impression.
Paz was never a likable character for me if Chico died instead i would probably be sad about it.
