It surprises me that Diablo III, a game after 2 years of his releasing is in top 5....

A great game anyway!!
Hatsune-Miku  +   680d ago
PlayStation nation confirmed. The people are requesting quality product so logically ps4 will be number one.
SonyNGP  +   680d ago
By that logic, PS Vita should be a lot higher, but it isn't.
Ilovetheps4  +   680d ago
I think an expansion for the game just came out last week. That's probably the reason it sold a few more copies.
Godmars290  +   680d ago
Isn't an expansion? A new campaign?
Mr Pumblechook  +   680d ago
I knew Germany was a PlayStation nation but even I'm surprised to see the PS4 doing 4x the Xbone business even though it is supply constrained and 'system seller' Titanfall is just out. For God's sake the Bone is only just about beating the PS3.
NukaCola  +   680d ago
Really curious what yotal week one numbers are for infamous. It sold abour 400k in the US in just 1 day.
stuna1  +   680d ago
3 to 1 enough said! Imfamous sold almost as much as the competitions highly acclaimed titles lifetime sales out the gate.
Exies7  +   680d ago
As a PS4 owner, do we get bonuses if it outsells the competition?
DanteVFenris666  +   680d ago
Yes we do, higher budget games.
Bhuahahaha  +   680d ago
yes some dev will make the said console as the main dev kit and the other will be just a port or worst wont bother porting to the other console if the sale record is abysmal

Yeah exclusive content and games. Like in the PS2 era.
GribbleGrunger  +   680d ago
Why do you think Titanfall will come to the PS4? Is it because the X1 sold less consoles?
MeLoveRamen  +   680d ago
Every ps4 owner should wants the ps4 to sell massive amounts because that way sony can invest in new studios and new ip's
Kryptix  +   679d ago
It means 3rd party exclusive franchises that were once with the competition will come to the PS4. So you won't miss out on a lot of games you wanted to play. Also means more exclusives.

Where are you getting your numbers that infamous outsold TF? Not even VGchartz backup you assertions. And you even go as far as stressing Lifetime LOL.

To have all of this celebration over a 6000 sale differed just goes to show how cult minded
Some of you have become. Germany, France, Spain and other EU regions
Have always bought PS over Xbox by wide margins. But those regions if Xbox could recover NA and UK again, they wouldn't need much out of those other regions to close the gap. We are 6,000 consoles here. That's a bad 4 hrs of a U.S day of sales to Put this in perspective.

If you look on the list of titles you'd see what I'm talking about! Imfamous sold over 24,000 copies, and TitanFall sold over 27,000 copies in week 2, which amounts to its lifetime sales in Germany.

By the way I never said it outsold TitanFall!? So much for your comment, obviously you have to read it to comprehend it!

Also, it's over 7,000 consoles! With the PS4 having a 200,000 console lead.

He said "almost" and he commented on the article about sales for GERMANY only (wink)

inFAMOUS: Second Son (PS4)
Sony Computer Entertainment, Action
23,671 23,671 1

Titanfall (XOne)
Electronic Arts, Shooter
5,812 27,338 2

So that gives for Germany week one sales:
inFAMOUS: Second Son (PS4) 23671
Titanfall (XOne) 27,338 -5,812 = 21,526

We will have to wait for sales figures to be released in other regions.

Also this is VGchartz remember.
Bigpappy  +   680d ago
Oh, you are just talking Germany. Ok you may commence with your celebration with no further interruptions from me. I still say it is not worth the big celebration though.

It would make sense for ISS too out sell TF if the disparity in console sales is that high. In fact, it should be much, much higher. I say that actually speaks volumes to the strong appeal of TF.

"Oh, you are just talking Germany. Ok you may commence with your celebration with no further interruptions from me. I still say it is not worth the big celebration though" OHHH right so when Xbone have a presumed lead on the PS4 for 1 whole week in the US you told the xbone fans the same thing right ? no ....didnt think so, the PS4 is kicking arse everywhere thats the celebration cos it shows that gamers actually like sony and the playstation, and the only reason it was so close last gen was because MS had the whole market to itself for a year to a year and a half, this time its all even stevens and you can easily see Sony is the more desirable company for gaming needs.
pakua  +   680d ago
We get it stuna1, you're a rabid Sony fanboy.
stuna1  +   680d ago
Why? Because I stated a fact!? I'm sure you have things that you perfer! Does that make you a fanboy? But to resort to calling me one, I'd guess that Sony is not who you prefer!

It's always easy to call someone a fanboy, when you don't have a valid counter argument or, dispute what's been said.

@stuna1 almost sold more . it did sell more its 1st week than 2 weeks of the other game
5eriously  +   680d ago
I'm speechless! I say no more, I'l let the numbers do the talking!

To all the doubters and hopefools out there! Time to rethink don't you think?

Vchartz are always wrong. Completely under track X1 and over track ps4 by millions. It has given everyone a false sense of Sony being in the lead. Truly sad.
GTgamer  +   680d ago
You do know for VGACharts its the other way around right ?(•ิ_•ิ)
DarkLord1003  +   680d ago
Guess you are the only one who figured it out.. Cause the Rest of the world is clearly prefering the ps4.
akaFullMetal  +   680d ago
Historically it has been the other way.
Longshot28  +   680d ago
LOL too bad SONY has already confirmed 6 million sold.
HaveAsandwich  +   680d ago
7 million.....
MasterCornholio  +   680d ago
Your claiming that they over tracked the PS4 by over 3 million consoles?

When Sony announced themselves that they sold over 6 million not to long ago.

The butthurt is strong with this one.
Bdub2000  +   679d ago
Your denial hurts my heart. I feel for you, fellow gamer.
pyramidshead  +   679d ago
Vgchartz didn't announce the 6mil+, Sony did. X1 is desperately trying to keep up in their primary territories. They know tier 2 countries are a wasted effort.
Flamingweazel  +   679d ago
LMAO that denial. Sony and MS npd and official numbers show ps4 is dominating x1, please.
Rockstar  +   679d ago
@ Bdub...

Good One!
MasterCornholio  +   679d ago
Sony just released a video bragging about selling over 6 million consoles. That's more than enough confirmation of the sales. Which is why your just being stupid when you say VGz is over tracking the PS4 by millions.

Some Xbox One fans still want to belive that their console is selling more than the competition. They can believe that if they wish but what you believe isn't the truth. At least we have solid evidence that the PS4 is selling more than the Xbox One. Where's evidence of the opposite?

There isn't any because it isn't true.

Deal with it.

Wow PS4 is doing really well. Nice to see after what I thought was a very shaky start with the PS3.
I have an Xbox One too but I wouldn't be totally against PS becoming my prime console again just look the good old PS2 days!
Theyre both awesome though!
Geekman  +   680d ago
You can tell Germany isn't a huge gaming country.
Hicken  +   680d ago
It's not usually treated as a big market; Europe is counted as a whole, excluding the UK.

Germany's numbers are probably indicative of those markets the XB1 hasn't launched in, by the way. A few thousand here or there in a few dozen other countries doesn't contribute a whole lot to the PS4's sales, and these countries are more receptive to Sony gaming than others.

In all likelihood, the XB1 would see similar numbers in those nations that it's enjoying in Germany.
XANDEO  +   680d ago
The UK is included in European figure's. And I think germany is more a PC country than console.
No_Limit  +   680d ago
Good sales all around in Germany. inFamous is a beast!!!
