The Australian Classification Board has issued a rating for Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, suggesting that it will soon join the illustrious roster of Game Boy Advance classics headed to Wii U’s Virtual Console.
This is welcome news. I haven't played it. I don't care, WiiU is unstoppable right now. Consumers don't know what they're missing.
IMHO, second only to SoTN (in Metriodvania-type Castlevanias, my all-time favorite is Super Castlevania IV), which makes it darned great. Tho it has more replayability due to "new game+" of sorts (and Julius Mode too). I haven't played any of the DS ones(sadly) enough so I can't make a fair comparison to those.
i'd recommend the DS Castlevania games they were definitely next to SOTN for me especially Order of Ecclesia
You NEED to play the DS Castlevanias. Seriously, like right now. PoR and OoE are among the best Castlevanias in the series and one of my favorite games. It was my sole reason for buying a DS.
"WiiU is unstoppable right now" LMAO
I saw that coming.
Compared to all the Ps3 games, PSstore games, controllers, move, that now have no use on Ps4? Yes, it is. Sure sales are pathetic, but if I wanted what was trendy I'd buy from Apple. Thief and Infamous are nothing new.
Please for the love of god be true!!! I will buy this in a heart beat.
This is why they chose to release GBA advance and DS games on the WII U. If Nintendo plays it smart they get the DS pokemon games out and advertise the heck out of this online, on TV and at any given venue they can. When they finally announce DS games then it will be on.
huh, that made me think... Wii U could totally be able to play NDS games with the gamepad.... actually an addon like the Gamecube's gameboy player for Wii U with 3DS would be insane too.
