Square Enix's JRPG Drakengard 3 will be released on May 20th in North America and on May 21st in Europe, and the ESRB finally stamped its "M" for Mature on the game, with a description that might discourage the faint of heart.
Great game for Playstation 3.
Literally my most anticipated game, it'll probably get terrible reviews and such. But god damn more Drakengard is too good to pass up. Preordered collector's.
maybe after the lighting return reviews, westerns critics can appreciate when they get a good game although this have some flaws and heve being midtier production values.
No, western critics will eat this up for it being a weird ass game alone, or 'the voice acting is bad' because they don't want to listen to the original VO. Either way, I'm gonna love it regardless.
Unfortunately i have to agree with you there. This game from what i hear has some pretty disturbing imagery & morbid story that only the Japanese will understand. The gameplay is pretty simple hack & slash which shouldn't be any issue unless the game media make it to be. Also preordered the collectors with all the DLC, though i am hesitant to play it cause seeing pretty girls kill each other is a little dark.
something what bother me,is what look like the reviewer suck playing hack slash games, for that casual games how DMC get good scores and hardcore one how killer is dead, yaiba, rising revengance get lower scores for being too hard,i remember the times of devil may cry where if you are not a good player the game simply can be impossible for some.
I thought SE already announced that they already sold out every CE they had?
I am ready!
i wish this was on or ported to ps4!
I am excited for this game I had great fun with the other two...and why does she have a flower growing out of her eyeball?
The EAST sure do make some gory games :P - Before you hit that Disagree button, Think! Is it worth it? Reply to why you disagree with me.
And the WEST obviously make tons of gory games too God of War, Mortal Kombat, Doom, The Last of Us, etc So, tell me what's your point again?
I wish more directors decide to create games for adults I mean most people who play single player VG in consoles is adults anyway & I don't even need to research that in order to know it, I'm 101% sure, I mean even the games that got the most GOTY awards both is M rated I speak for GTA V & TLOU & what about the new Tomb Raider or Witcher? those 2 is M rated also both sold millions, there is countless adults gamers out there that want to play something more appropriate for their age so we need more M rated games blood/gore/violence, sex or harsh language is all fine as long the game is good adult gamers r going to support it for sure & I don't even count little kids who r going to get it anyway no matter what age restriction it have :P that was the same for me I first play RE when I was 13 years old although it was M rated :)
Me too Even though i'm sure this will get negative reviews from western reviewers, just like Nier. But screw the reviewers. I loved Nier and Drakengard, that's why i will get this game day 1 ^^
Eh, never cared about reviews, but what pisses me off is that some people judge a game based on reviews.
The dialogue and story telling is very Japanese oriented, it gives you the depressing and emo feeling when you play the DLC, in fact the voice actors really shine in the Japan release, I think it not gonna be appreciated by the westerner No, there are almost no nudity in this game but very explicit sexual reference in the dialogues, S&M, Joy Play, etc and mixture of sarcasm comedy
