Opinion: I Want Next-gen Experiences Over Ports

This is why I don't last of us. It was a great game on ps3 can't we leave it at that?

What if they make it as next gen as they can, both graphically and gameplay wise. Imagine for example that as well as the improved graphics, they also add the gameplay element form Left Behind, where infected are now roaming around in the combat encounters. It would give a completely new gameplay experience. The game would feel fresh in a way.

If the port stops people working on something new, I'm against, but if it's a team who are usually dedicated to clean up, I'm fine with ports, for people who may have missed last generation classics.
